The Clean Seal™ Air Duct Cleaning & Sealing Process
The Clean Seal™ Process is a two-step solution designed to improve the performance of your entire HVAC system. First, our technicians thoroughly clean your air ducts to remove accumulated dust, debris, and contaminants. Next, we use advanced Aeroseal technology to seal hidden leaks from the inside of your ductwork, helping improve indoor air quality, increase airflow, reduce energy loss, and create a more comfortable home.
Duct Cleaning: Using high-powered, professional duct cleaning equipment, the technician will meticulously clean each register and duct, removing accumulated dust, debris, and contaminants. (we don’t seal dirt)
Sealing Registers: All air registers will be temporarily sealed for cleaning to ensure no debris escapes into your home. (your HVAC system will be off during this time)
Duct Sealing Preparation: The professional team will switch equipment and connect the Aeroseal duct sealing machine to prepare for sealing.
Pre-Seal Diagnostic: The technician will conduct a pre-seal test to assess and document the initial level of duct leakage, providing a baseline for the sealing process.
Duct Sealing: With the Aeroseal technology, the technician will then seal the ductwork from the inside, targeting and eliminating leaks, ensuring no future air loss or contaminant entry.
Post-Seal Verification: After the sealing process, a post-seal report will be generated, detailing the effectiveness of the seal and the significant reduction in air leakage.
Equipment Dismantling: The team will disconnect the Aeroseal duct sealing machine and remove all seals from the registers, restoring your HVAC system to its optimal setup.
Clean-Up and Review: The technician will ensure all equipment is removed and the property is left clean. They will then review the completed job with the homeowner, providing the post-seal report detailing the efficiency and air quality improvements.
The seal is warrantied for 10 years on the condition that Mr. Duct Cleaner performs any further duct cleaning during that time. The warranty is voided if new ductwork is installed or major repairs to the duct system happen.

Every HVAC system is different, which is why we perform both a pre-seal and post-seal diagnostic test. After the process is complete, you’ll receive a report showing the reduction in duct leakage achieved in your home.

How long does the Clean Seal™ Process last?
Mr. Duct Cleaner provides a 10-year warranty on the seal when subsequent duct cleaning is performed by Mr. Duct Cleaner and no major changes are made to the duct system. Your technician will explain the warranty details after your service is complete.
